Cheshire Wedding Photographer

ordinary people on extraordinary days, authentically captured.

This is wedding photography for people who don’t want vanilla. Those who want their wedding photos to look like their wedding, and not everyone else’s. This is wedding photography for couples looking to celebrate their day, their way.

  • "I really wanted someone I could feel comfortable with when getting ready, and Caroline was just the perfect person, she managed to both seamlessly blend into the background, and also be a warm and fun presence. "

  • "We knew from her portfolio that the photos would be amazing, but to see the vibe and feel of the day captured so perfectly through a candid view, where emotions and fleeting moments were captured in perfect frame, was beyond words. "

The Photos are About the wedding.
The wedding is not about the photos.

The photos you’ll see here are documentary and candid in style, which means you’ll get a gallery full of unposed photos, and the story of your day as it unfolded. It’s about capturing moments in time, little bits that you missed on the day, fleeting moments that pass you by before you’ve even realised they’ve happened.

I don’t think your wedding should look like everyone else’s - it should look like yours, whether that’s barefoot in a field or black tie at a swanky rooftop bar. It’s not about posing all day or having so many group photos that you miss your canapés, or about a photographer saying or doing things to make you laugh (I’d rather capture those laughs between you and your guests). It’s about getting a beautiful gallery filled with real moments from your wedding, so you can have a great time without feeling pressured by an endless list of group photos.

Hey, I'm Caroline, and I love photographing real life.

Photograph of cheshire wedding photographer Caroline Goosey. She is sitting on the pavement in front of a sign saying RELAX, and has a relaxed, friendly demeanor.

I’m a wedding photographer with one goal in mind: I want you to have the most fabulous wedding day, full of hugs and lovely things that make you smile so deep inside you think you might actually burst a little bit. Things that happen without any direction or prompting, real moments of emotion, affection, surprise, happiness, poignance…all of it. Cool things happen in real life all the time, especially at weddings.

I live in Cheshire, and I’ve photographed weddings all over the UK and further afield. My style is all about keeping it authentic, so every wedding I photograph looks that tiny bit different. I keep to the same unposed, documentary style, but because the people are always different it means every wedding looks a little different. This means I get to give every couple a unique set of photos!

So I love all kinds of weddings - big, tiny, destination or your back garden. If you want a photographer who’ll blend in, laugh with your aunties, and get the shots without direction, I’m your girl.

“help! We’re not getting married in Cheshire!”

Great! I love going somewhere new. While most of the weddings I photograph are around Cheshire, Manchester and North Wales, I’ll go anywhere. I’ve photographed weddings from Kent to Ayr, and everywhere in between. I get to go to so many new and interesting places with this job, and I love exploring somewhere I’ve never been before.

If you love my style and you want to chat with me about your wedding then get in touch, no matter where you’re getting married.

My full day packages include UK mainland travel, so you won’t get caught out by a sudden surprise.

“but can we have some group photos?”

ABSOLUTELY.

Group photos matter to me if they matter to you. Most couples have 4-6 group photos, taken during the drinks reception.

I was immediately drawn to Caroline’s style of work and her ability to capture the real raw and candid moments of a wedding day, the personality of the day. She’s an absolute pro at it! Caroline felt like an extension of our friends and family, it warms my heart just thinking about it now. We cant stop looking at the amazing photos Caroline captured, they are absolutely everything and more.
